Molex’s Micro-Fit 3.0 series uses 3.0 mm pitch female (“socket”) crimp contacts designed for wire-to-wire and wire-to-board assemblies. They feature multiple-point contact surfaces and locking tangs that firmly snap into the housing, ensuring a reliable and secure electrical connection

• Phosphor bronze contact material—offers resilience and conductivity

• Plating options: tin (Sn) or gold (Au) — tin is standard; gold versions exist for enhanced corrosion resistance

Wire gauge range

• Common sizes:

  • 24–20 AWG (0.2–0.5 mm²)

  • 30–26 AWG (0.2 mm²)

  • There’s also an 18 AWG variant for higher current

Electrical & mechanical specs

• Current rating: up to 8.5 A (for 3 mm pitch)

• Max operating temperature: up to +105 °C

• Contact resistance: typically ≤10 mΩ

Compatibility

These sockets are designed to fit Molex Micro-Fit 3.0 housings (e.g., 43645‑0300 or 43025 series). They mate with those housings and the corresponding male crimp pins.
